Recently, the 16th Cross Strait Children's Art Exhibition Beijing Exhibition opened, and young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas used their brushes to paint the "myriad of life" together. This exhibition showcases nearly 450 works, presenting the understanding and recognition of life among young people from different regions. This year's exhibition also features works by Taiwanese artist Jiang Yihan and mainland artist Xie Lifang. Huang Wentao, Vice President of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait, stated that young people are the future of the Chinese nation and the hope for peaceful development of cross-strait relations. This year's Cross Strait Children's Art Exhibition not only provides a platform for young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to showcase their talents, but also builds a bridge to promote the spiritual and emotional connection between young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Curator Zhou Ying introduced that the theme of this exhibition is "Life in Wonders", aiming to encourage young people to recognize the preciousness of life and understand the diversity and endless vitality of Chinese culture. The work 'Memories of Islands' by a Taiwanese painter left a deep impression on me. The author pursues their own bloodline inheritance and cultural traditions through the painting, "Zhou Ying said." We hope that the painting can promote communication between children on both sides of the Taiwan Strait through daily life and life states. "" From Darwin's species origins to China's creation myths, children showcase their imagination of life through their pens. ”Mainland artist Xie Lifang expressed after viewing the exhibited works that these paintings not only showcase the rich creativity of children, but also reflect a common cultural heritage and emotional connection.
