October 10th is the 100th anniversary of the establishment of China's First Historical Archives. The First Historical Archives of China, formerly known as the Archives Department of the Palace Museum established in October 1925, has gone through a hundred years of history. The collection of over 10 million Ming and Qing Dynasty archives, along with oracle bones from the Yin ruins, Han bamboo slips from Juyan, and Dunhuang manuscripts, is known as one of the "four major discoveries" of ancient Chinese literature in the early 20th century.
