On the morning of the 8th local time, the Chinese Navy's "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship, which is carrying out the "Harmony Mission-2025" mission, successfully completed a 7-day friendly visit and humanitarian medical services to Fiji, and departed for Tonga. During its stay in Fiji, the "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship has treated a total of 3330 people, performed 426 surgeries, and conducted 2531 auxiliary examinations and tests. Pio Tikoduadua, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs of Fiji, stated that the Chinese Navy's "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship has brought welfare to the people of Fiji and is a vivid embodiment of Fiji China friendship. At around 10:00 on the 8th, before the Chinese Navy's "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship departed, it conducted a joint maritime search and rescue exercise with the Fiji Navy in the waters near Fiji, focusing on courses such as maritime transportation and maritime rescue. After the drill, the hospital ship "Silk Road Ark" headed to Tonga. It is understood that this is the third visit of a Chinese naval hospital ship carrying out the "Harmony Mission" series of missions to Fiji, and also the first joint search and rescue exercise conducted by the Chinese and Philippine navies.
