The Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently jointly issued a typical case of judicial assistance to promote comprehensive rural revitalization. This batch of typical cases consists of 8 cases, presenting characteristics such as precise focus on rescue targets, close and efficient rescue cooperation, diverse and comprehensive rescue methods, and prominent effects in promoting comprehensive rural revitalization. It is reported that the rescue targets of these typical cases mainly involve monitoring objects who have entered the prosecution and case handling process to prevent poverty from returning to poverty, as well as special groups in rural areas such as retired soldiers, minors, disabled people, and women who are facing difficulties in life. In terms of rescue cooperation, the procuratorial organs and agricultural and rural departments have established and improved a platform for judicial assistance to promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. They have leveraged their respective advantages in information sharing, clue transfer, and collaborative assistance to promote high-quality and effective rescue and assistance work. In terms of rescue methods, the procuratorial organs not only distribute judicial assistance funds and solve the urgent needs of the families of the rescued persons, but also combine the actual difficulties of the rescued persons, work together with agricultural and rural departments to promote social assistance and assistance work, and carry out diversified comprehensive rescue work such as industrial assistance, skills training, and legal aid in a targeted manner, realizing the transformation from "blood transfusion" rescue to "hematopoietic" rescue. According to statistics, from 2023 to the first half of 2025, procuratorial organs at all levels have provided assistance to 95000 people in rural areas who have been trapped due to cases, and issued judicial assistance funds of 980 million yuan, effectively preventing a group of rural people from returning to poverty due to cases. Next, both departments will continue to increase their efforts to provide assistance and support to individuals in rural areas who have encountered difficulties due to cases, actively promote the implementation of policies to prevent poverty from returning to poverty, and make full use of various assistance and support measures.
