Xi Jinping and Bangladesh President Chup exchanged congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh Li Qiang exchanged congratulations with Yunus, chief adviser of the Bangladesh interim government

On October 4, President Xi Jinping and Bangladesh President Chup exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh.   Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Bangladesh are traditional friendly close neighbors, and the exchanges between the two countries have a long history. In the past half a century since the establishment of diplomatic relations, no matter how the international and regional situation changes, the two sides have always developed friendly relations based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, and set an example of mutual respect, equal treatment and win-win cooperation among countries. In recent years, China-Bangladesh political mutual trust has been continuously consolidated, high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and practical cooperation in various fields has been continuously expanded, and a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has been continuously deepened.
