Teng Da, Chairman of Guotou Intelligence, stated that the company has built national level electronic data forensics laboratories for 15 African countries around the two major businesses of electronic data forensics and public safety big data, and has also jointly established law enforcement training courses. As of now, Guotou Intelligence has assisted eight countries including Egypt and Ethiopia in building laboratories, exporting 100 sets of equipment, and conducting 38 training sessions. Meitu's collaboration in the field of AI imaging is equally impressive. In April 2024, the China Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum was held for the first time in Xiamen. Compared to April last year, Meitu's monthly active users in Africa have increased by 220%. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, in the first eight months of this year, Fujian Province's imports and exports to Africa amounted to 68.65 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16%. From the perspective of trade regions, sub Saharan Africa accounts for 87% of trade volume, with import and export growth rates exceeding 40% in countries such as Angola, Gabon, and Cameroon. Made in Fujian "has won favor in the African market with its excellent quality and high cost-effectiveness. In the first eight months of this year, Fujian Province exported 15.52 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products to Africa, a year-on-year increase of 17.5%, accounting for 39.1% of the total export value to Africa. During the forum, China proposed the Action Plan for Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace between China and Africa (2025-2026), established the "China Internet Enterprise Cooperation Network in Africa", and will continue to hold seminars on cyber security and digital economy. The African representatives attending the forum highly praised and actively responded to the cooperation initiatives and measures proposed by China. They thanked China for hosting this forum and expressed that it is in line with the development needs of digital transformation in African countries. They are willing to deepen cooperation with China in the fields of digital economy, network security and data protection, artificial intelligence governance, and online media, and work together to build a community of shared future in the cyberspace between China and Africa.
