National Security Agency: Don't let traffic become a variable, a live broadcast may become an accomplice in the leak chain

According to the Ministry of National Security, recently, the national security department cracked a case of live streaming leaking military secrets. This incident once again sounded the alarm for the public: cyberspace is not an illegal place, and any behavior that crosses the legal red line will face severe punishment. Do not turn "traffic passwords" into "criminal fuses". One night, Chen, who lived near a military airport, was sitting idly at home when an unusually dense low altitude roar suddenly came from outside the window. He observed multiple planes flying at low altitude through the window. After Chen noticed this movement, out of a desire for network traffic, he quickly started real-time live streaming on a certain live streaming platform and made public the dynamic images of military aircraft outside the window. During the live broadcast, multiple viewers repeatedly warned Chen in the comment section, reminding him that "this is a military aircraft, cannot be broadcast live, may leak military secrets, stop broadcasting quickly" and so on. Chen gradually realized the military nature of the captured footage and the sensitivity of the live streaming behavior. However, faced with the continuously increasing number of online viewers and interactive heat, Chen chose to ignore the risks under the temptation of "overwhelming traffic", and even refused to cooperate after receiving a phone warning from the airport security department, and verbally insulted the security department personnel. The live broadcast, which lasted for nearly an hour, has accumulated over 20000 views. The dynamic situation of military operations, aircraft models, and aircraft takeoff and landing times continues to leak, posing a serious threat to our military security. After investigation and verification by national security agencies, it was found that Chen intentionally disseminated real-time footage of military aircraft flight to the public through online live streaming, despite knowing that filming and public dissemination of military activities were strictly prohibited. If the live broadcast content is identified by relevant departments as military secrets, and according to Article 432 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, it violates the regulations on guarding state secrets, intentionally or negligently leaks military secrets, and the circumstances are serious, it shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or detention; Those with particularly serious circumstances shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than ten years. Chen's behavior is suspected of intentionally leaking state secrets, and his reckless live streaming behavior will be severely punished by the law. National security agencies remind not to let traffic become a variable, as a live broadcast may become an accomplice in the leak chain. Some seemingly harmless behaviors such as live streaming, sharing location information, uploading photos, etc. may leak state secrets and endanger national security. Every citizen has the responsibility and obligation to cooperate in ensuring the security and confidentiality of military sensitive areas, and is not allowed to film or broadcast military sensitive areas such as military airports without authorization. If citizens find any suspicious clues, please report to the local national security authorities through the 12339 national security authority's hotline, the online reporting platform (www.12339. gov.cn), the WeChat official account of the Ministry of National Security, or directly to the local national security authorities.
