Staff members from the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Shexian County, Hebei Province, recently visited the Qingzhang Medical and Elderly Care Center in the county to understand the distribution of welfare funds such as elderly allowances. Based on its supervisory responsibilities, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Shexian County focuses on key aspects such as the performance and protection of rights and interests of cadres in the field of elderly care services to carry out supervision and inspection. It extensively collects problem clues, strictly inspects and corrects the inadequate performance of cadres, and the inadequate distribution of welfare funds such as elderly allowances and disability subsidies. The Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Shexian County, together with relevant functional departments, formed a supervision and inspection team to conduct in-depth investigations into the problems and hidden dangers in the field of elderly care services through on-site visits, individual interviews, and data review. The team focused on identifying the shortcomings and loopholes in the operation and management, fund utilization, and service quality of 10 elderly care institutions in the county. At the same time, we will adhere to a problem oriented approach, urge the civil affairs department to conduct a comprehensive investigation, and promote problem by problem rectification through a "list based management and closed-loop account cancellation" approach. We will also hold talks with the responsible persons of two elderly care institutions that have safety hazards and irregular financial management. The Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Shexian County is exploring the use of big data methods to establish and improve a "discipline inspection and supervision+functional department" data sharing and information verification and comparison mechanism. By coordinating basic data from departments such as human resources and social security, civil affairs, etc., an analysis model is constructed to thoroughly understand whether there are problems such as inadequate supervision and untimely distribution of elderly allowances in relevant departments and elderly care institutions. The responsibility, work style, and corruption issues behind them are seriously investigated and dealt with. In order to consolidate the results of supervision, the county's discipline inspection and supervision commission issued three disciplinary inspection and supervision proposals to the civil affairs department, urging the improvement and enhancement of four systems, including strengthening the safety management of elderly care institutions throughout the county, and focusing on improving the quality and level of elderly care services.
