On September 21st, the launching ceremony of the commemorative stamps for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region was held at the Xinjiang Museum in Urumqi. The commemorative stamps consist of one set of three stamps with the names "Beautiful Xinjiang", "Unity and Harmony", and "Open Highland". The face value of the full set of stamps is 3.60 yuan, and the planned national issuance quantity is 4.9 million sets. The stamp pattern is created using rock color painting techniques and printed using offset printing technology, resulting in a saturated overall color and delicate image. The first "Beautiful Xinjiang" is mainly based on the beautiful scenery of Xinjiang cities, with a rose symbolizing the border locking project in the foreground, and the background being the Mustage Peak of Kunlun Mountains and Lake Karakule. The second "Unity and Harmony" showcases the scene of unity and harmony among various ethnic groups and industries in Xinjiang, where people are as close as one family. The third "open highland", with the China Europe Express and Khorgos Gate as the core elements, presents Urumqi Tianshan International Airport, photovoltaic power station and Bogda Peak in the future. The partial use of fluorescent effects in the screen further enhances the theme expression and enhances the overall artistic beauty of the stamp. This set of stamps was designed by Li Dan, edited by Wang Jing, and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. On the same day, the "Philatelic Exhibition Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region" opened at the Xinjiang Museum and will continue until the 27th.
