In the past five years, the construction of the BRICS Innovation Base has achieved remarkable results, becoming the first project to carry out practical cooperation under the framework of the New Industrial Revolution Partnership. It is reported that in the past five years, the BRICS Innovation Base has adhered to the BRICS spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation, continuously deepened pragmatic cooperation in the field of the new industrial revolution, and formed multiple landmark achievements. For example, it holds the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum every year, with representatives from more than 30 countries participating and releasing 18 mechanism based cooperation achievements; Establish a BRICS Customs Demonstration Center; Co building the BRICS Innovation Base Digital Economy Research Center and accelerating joint technological breakthroughs among BRICS countries. Li Lecheng stated that in the face of intensified global technological competition and profound adjustments in industrial patterns, BRICS countries and developing countries should fully leverage their unique advantages in markets, resources, industries, etc., strengthen policy coordination, technological cooperation, and ecological co construction. We must closely follow the trend of technological change, strengthen the coordination between policies and regulations, and promote the interconnection of digital infrastructure; Efforts should be made to improve the utilization efficiency of resources and energy, and jointly promote the green and sustainable development of industry; We must steadfastly share opportunities in openness, maintain the security, stability, smoothness, and efficiency of global industrial and supply chains.
