It is reported that in order to implement the Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative, the 1.0 version of the Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Framework will be released in September 2024. In the past year, AI technology and applications have developed rapidly. In order to meet new opportunities and challenges, under the guidance of the National Cyberspace Office, the National Internet Emergency Center led the organization of AI professional institutions, scientific research institutes and industrial enterprises to jointly develop the Framework 2.0. Framework 2.0 is based on the 2024 framework, combined with the development and application practice of artificial intelligence technology, continuously tracking risk changes, improving and optimizing risk classification, researching and exploring risk grading, and dynamically adjusting and updating prevention and governance measures. The person in charge of the National Internet Emergency Response Center said that the release of the Framework 2.0 conforms to the trend of global AI development, coordinates technological innovation and governance practices, constantly deepens consensus on AI security, ethics, governance and other aspects, promotes the formation of a safe, credible and controllable human intelligence development ecosystem, and builds a cross-border, cross domain, and cross industry collaborative governance pattern.
