The International Research Center for Sustainable Development Big Data recently officially released the "Lingxi · Sustainable Development Goals Big Model". This is the world's first large-scale model serving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to solve the challenges of data integration, knowledge extraction, and decision support in sustainable development research, and completely revolutionize the working mode of researchers and decision-makers. The core functions of this large model include intelligent data analysis and prediction of progress towards sustainable development goals. It has five intelligent agents including literature review, indicator analysis, report writing, 3D interaction, and intelligent narrative, taking the lead in empowering sustainable development goals with artificial intelligence technology. For example, in order to complete a comprehensive sustainable development research report, researchers once had to spend months struggling to "mine gold" from massive global databases and academic papers. Nowadays, researchers only need to clarify their needs through natural language dialogue, and the literature review agent can parallelly search for a massive amount of multilingual academic resources worldwide. Through intelligent rearrangement, cross validation, and traceability, high-quality review reports of up to 20000 words, complete structure, and citation accuracy exceeding 90% can be automatically generated, compressing the previously time-consuming literature research work into a few minutes and greatly liberating scientific research productivity. Guo Huadong, academician of the CAS Member and director of the International Research Center for Sustainable Development Big Data, said that the launch of the big model has provided a new infrastructure for global sustainable development governance. This is not only an improvement in efficiency, but also a revolution in research paradigms, refining the "data flood" of global sustainable development into a "smart spring" that supports scientific decision-making, achieving a perfect closed loop from "data" to "knowledge" and then to "decision-making".
