The Hainan Free Trade Port Tourism and Culture Promotion Conference with the theme of "Sunshine Hainan" held a warm-up ceremony at K11 Art Shopping Center in Hong Kong on the 10th. The event showcases the unique charm of Hainan's tropical islands to Hong Kong citizens through a series of forms such as tourism and cultural image exhibitions, intangible cultural heritage boutique exhibitions, and Li Jin fashion shows. Nearly a hundred guests from organizations such as the Asian Tourism Exchange Center, Hong Kong Tourism Commission, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong Hainan Association, City University of Hong Kong, and multiple travel merchants participated in the event. The Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Industry Council, Tan Guangshun, stated that Hainan and Hong Kong have complementary and synergistic effects in cultural and tourism. Hainan has abundant cultural and tourism resources, while Hong Kong is a world leading international financial center and a center for cultural and artistic exchanges between China and foreign countries. The organic combination of "Hainan's resources" and "Hong Kong's platform" is a solid foundation for successful cooperation. At the promotion event, a video exhibition showcasing the scenery of various regions in Hainan has become a focus of attention for many citizens. More than 80 works in the video exhibition showcase the "most beautiful moments" of Hainan's ten major tourism products, including ocean tourism, medical and health tourism, and aerospace tourism. Hong Kong citizen Huang Wenhua said, "I haven't been to Hainan yet, but after seeing these pictures, I suddenly had an impulse to go." The event also showcased Hainan's intangible cultural heritage, traditional ethnic costumes, and specialty food markets. Among them, the Li Jin clothing that has been passed down for 3000 years is particularly eye-catching against the backdrop of Hong Kong's fashionable atmosphere. Tang Qiuchen, the person in charge of Hainan Lijin Culture Communication Co., Ltd., said, "The Li people rely on the patterns on Lijin clothing to record and inherit their ethnic culture. The beauty of Hainan is not only reflected in the blue sky and blue sea, but also in these cultural products." During the event, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture also awarded the "Hainan Tourism International Recommendation Officer" certificate to six Hong Kong self media bloggers.
