On September 8-9, China, Russia, and Mongolia organized the "Border Cooperation-2025" joint exercise in a certain area of the China Russia Mongolia border, with the theme of "Joint Prevention and Strike Against Terrorist and Destructive Activities in Border Areas". This is the first time that the three parties have organized border troops to participate in the joint exercise. The joint military exercise aims to enhance the level of strategic cooperation among the three parties, strengthen the ability to respond to border security threats, further consolidate strategic mutual trust, demonstrate pragmatic cooperation, and deepen traditional friendship. During the exercise, the three parties set up a joint command post within our territory, based on the principle of "in whose territory, led by who, multilateral consultation, parallel command". Through organizing joint planning, joint reconnaissance, joint blockade, joint strike, joint handover and other exercise contents, the new mode of border defense cooperation was fully tested.
