Recently, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the South Korean Ministry of National Defense reached an agreement on the implementation of the 12th batch of handover of remains of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea. The South Korean side will transfer the remains and related relics of 30 Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea to the Chinese side on September 12th. Both China and South Korea follow international law and humanitarian principles, and have successfully handed over the remains and related relics of 981 Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea for eleven consecutive times from 2014 to 2024. This year marks the 12th handover implemented in accordance with the consensus reached between China and South Korea. Both sides will continue to cooperate in the handover of the remains of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea. (New Society)
