China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. recently announced that it will further optimize the discount measures for passengers such as children, disabled soldiers, disabled police officers, and disabled firefighters. Discounted tickets will be available for sale starting from the 6th. In terms of child tickets, according to the relevant regulations of railway passenger transportation, children who are over 6 years old but under 14 years old should purchase child discount tickets; Each adult passenger holding a ticket can bring one child under the age of 6 who does not occupy a separate seat for free. If there are more than one child, they should purchase a discounted child ticket; Children who ride for free should purchase discounted tickets when using their seats alone. After optimization and adjustment, children's discounted tickets on high-speed trains will enjoy corresponding fare discounts according to seat types. Second class and first class seats will be priced at a "50% discount on the executed fare", special class seats, preferred first class seats, and business seats will be priced at a "20% discount on the executed fare", and sleeper seats on high-speed trains (second class, first class, dynamic, premium dynamic, etc.) will be priced at a "30% discount on the executed fare", with the lowest discount being 40% of the published fare. In addition, personnel holding the People's Republic of China Disabled Soldier Certificate, People's Republic of China Disabled Police Certificate, or National Comprehensive Fire Rescue Team Disabled Personnel Certificate can purchase discounted tickets. The discounted ticket prices for each seat of the high-speed train are calculated according to the "50% discount on the executed ticket price" method, with the lowest discount being 40% of the published ticket price.
