The "2025 China Festival" opens in Tokyo, Japan

On September 6th, the two-day "2025 China Festival" large-scale exchange event opened at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao, Japanese Foreign Minister and Political Officer Shoko Ina, Komeito Party Permanent Advisor Natsuo Yamaguchi, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Mari Kaieda, President of the Japan China Association Yi Noda, President of the Japan China Friendship Association De Ichiro Utsunomiya, former Ambassador to China Yuji Miyamoto, Member of Parliament Yang Ichiro Aoliu, President of the China Enterprises Association in Japan Wang Jiaxun, President of the Japan Overseas Chinese Federation Chen Longjin, and others attended and delivered speeches. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda sent a video speech. Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shenzhen, Dalian and other places, friendly groups, representatives of overseas Chinese, and relevant country ambassadors to Japan attended. Wu Jianghao stated that with the joint efforts of Sino Japanese friendship groups, overseas Chinese in Japan, and embassies, the scale of this year's China Festival has reached a new high, with 160 booths set up to create a platform for up close experiences of China's urban development, cutting-edge technology, trendy culture, cultural performances, and specialty cuisine. The embassy also has a dedicated "one-day consular department" to provide consular consultation and certification services. Wu Jianghao expressed that China is willing to work with knowledgeable people from all walks of life in Japan, uphold the spirit of learning from history and facing the future, and jointly build a constructive and stable China Japan relationship that meets the requirements of the new era in accordance with the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries. The attending guests congratulated the China Festival and hoped that both sides could enhance friendly exchanges and mutual understanding through the festival, and promote the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations. After the opening ceremony, Wu Jianghao toured with guests and interacted with exhibitors and audiences. The Chinese Corner made another appearance at the "China Festival" this year. As a continuous Japan China people to people exchange event since 2007, the Chinese Corner has been held 870 times, with a total of over 30000 participants. (New Society)
