The reporter learned from the Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau that a delegation of Macao entrepreneurs will attend the 2025 Dili International Trade Fair in East Timor at the end of August, setting up the "China Portugal Platform @ Macao" exhibition hall to further deepen Macao's role as a "precise contact" between China and Portuguese speaking countries. It is reported that the event has facilitated 8 cooperative signing projects and arranged nearly 140 business matching negotiations. The participating Macau enterprises affirmed the effectiveness of the event, and Timor Leste enterprises hope to expand their international business network through Macau and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. The participating companies' business covers areas such as food procurement, construction, finance, tourism, and personal care product manufacturing. The 2025 Dili International Trade Fair will be held at the Dili Convention Center from August 28th to September 1st local time. This expo is hosted by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Timor Leste, with 250 booths showcasing unique products and investment opportunities from various countries. It is the first large-scale economic and trade exhibition event in the local area. Li Zaosen, a member of the Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau, stated that Macao is continuously enriching and enhancing the connotation of the China Portugal platform, strengthening the functions of internal and external communication, and actively promoting all-round, deep level, and multi field cooperation between China and Portugal. At the same time, closely adhering to the positioning of "Macau+Hengqin", with the promotion of moderate diversified development of Macau's economy as the main axis, and through highly connected industrial layout with Macau, more investment opportunities will be created for enterprises from Portuguese speaking countries.
