According to recent media reports, Wu was sentenced to five months of detention and seven months of probation for defrauding others of money by forging Maotai liquor's qualification for winning the lottery. After trial, the court sentenced Wu to fixed-term imprisonment and a fine for fraud, and together with the previous sentence, decided to execute a fixed-term imprisonment of four years and three months and a fine of 37000 yuan.
