On August 30, 2025, at the construction site of the Pinglu Canal Ma Dao Hub in Jiuzhou Town, Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province, the project builders are rushing to push forward the construction schedule. The starting point of the Pinglu Canal is located at the mouth of Pingtang River in Xijin Reservoir Area, Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi. It passes through Luwu Town, Lingshan County, Qinzhou City and enters the Beibu Gulf along the Qinjiang River, with a total length of 134.2 kilometers. The completion of the canal is of great significance for the economic development, social progress, ecological protection, and opening-up of Guangxi and even the entire southwestern region.
