On the 27th, the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone and the Macao Special Administrative Region signed a memorandum of cooperation between the administrative departments of "hospital hospital" point-to-point cross-border transportation in Qinhuangdao and Macao, marking the realization of a direct connection model between medical institutions and ambulances in Qinhuangdao and Macao for cross-border medical services. According to the memorandum, Qin'ao and Qin'ao will establish an efficient and safe cross-border transportation mechanism to ensure that patients assessed by designated hospitals in both regions can be transported quickly and smoothly, thereby improving medical treatment efficiency. Qinao Hospital adopts an efficient customs clearance mode of "advance registration, simplified inspection, no disembarkation throughout the process, and emergency priority access" for point-to-point cross-border transportation, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the transportation process. At the same time, both parties continue to improve supporting policies such as the qualifications of on-board medical personnel, vehicle access, drug and equipment clearance, inspection and quarantine, continuously optimize the transportation process, and further expand the integration and development of the medical and health fields in Qin'ao. The relevant person in charge of the Executive Committee of the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone introduced that the signing of this memorandum is an important measure for the continuous strengthening of infrastructure "hard connectivity", rules and mechanisms "soft connectivity", and "heart connectivity" between Qin'ao and Qin'ao residents. It provides institutional guarantees for Qin'ao medical institutions to establish efficient and safe cross-border transportation mechanisms, and looks forward to bringing more health and well-being to Qin'ao residents.
