On August 25th, the 2025 Shanghai Cultural and Tourism Bureau and Shanghai Cultural Relics Bureau hosted the Shanghai History Museum and Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association's Artificial Intelligence Application Scene Matchmaking and Exchange Conference in the field of cultural and museum in Shanghai. Shanghai has always been a pioneer in innovative development, and has also been the first to explore in the field of cultural heritage. Currently, Shanghai is accelerating the application of artificial intelligence in the field of cultural relics, with a focus on cultural relics protection and restoration, cultural relics appraisal, venue guidance, immersive exhibitions, etc. It is promoting the creation of a number of intelligent application scenarios, actively exploring innovative paths to make cultural relics "come alive", shaping new cultural experience methods, making cultural relics venues a new engine for cultural inheritance and innovation, and making AI a "super translator" who tells the stories of Shanghai and China. On the 25th, the 2025 Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry Artificial Intelligence Application Scene Matchmaking and Exchange Conference was held in Shanghai. At the docking meeting hosted by Xie Mengyuan, multiple cultural and cultural artificial intelligence application scenarios were officially released and a signing ceremony was held. Shanghai Museum collaborates with Baishitong to create a digital twin museum, integrating AIGC, ultra high definition and other technologies, relying on cultural and museum datasets, to bring cultural relics into thousands of households with more vivid display forms and immersive interactive experiences. The Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China actively promotes the empowerment of artificial intelligence in red culture, plans to develop the "Chuguang" large model, and signs a contract with China Telecom to jointly develop the "Digital One" - Red Culture, Creativity, and Communication Generative Artificial Intelligence Design Service Subsystem project. The Shanghai History Museum, in collaboration with four science and technology innovation enterprises, will continue to deepen cooperation in areas such as spatial scanning, agile collection modeling, digital copyright protection, and intelligent navigation. By jointly building a joint laboratory, a full chain model of "technology research and development application demonstration promotion and replication" will be constructed. The Shanghai Cultural Relics Exchange Center (Shanghai Cultural Relics Store) has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Shanghai Kupas Technology Co., Ltd. to explore the construction of a movable cultural relic library for the collection and preservation of cultural relics by the Shanghai Cultural Relics Exchange Center (Shanghai Cultural Relics Store). At the meeting, Shanghai Jiao Tong University officially launched the construction of the "Shanghai Cultural Relics Architecture and Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Research Center" by integrating its advantageous resources on campus. The center relies on the Smart Humanities and Social Sciences Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the International Research Center for Architectural Cultural Heritage Protection, focusing on empowering artificial intelligence technology in core areas such as disease diagnosis, risk prediction, and protection decision-making of cultural relics and buildings, and continuously promoting the intelligent upgrading of cultural relics and building protection work. During the enterprise display and promotion session, multiple technology companies shared their achievements and products in the research and development of cultural and intelligent technology. Among them, Step Leap Star collaborates with partners in the fields of cultural creation and tourism consumption to jointly promote the innovative application of large-scale models; Shangtang Technology collaborated with Fu Liye Robotics to vividly explain the precious collections of the Shanghai History Museum, such as the "HSBC Bronze Lion" and "Wuhua Hao Bai Zi Da Li Jiao", through the GR-1 robot equipped with the "Ri Ri Xin" large model, attracting people to stop and watch. In the future, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will fully implement the strategic deployment of "molding Shanghai", continuously deepen the cross-border integration of artificial intelligence and cultural tourism, focus on building a new ecology and form of digital era cultural tourism, and accelerate the cultivation of a batch of replicable and promotable "AI+cultural tourism" benchmark cases by strengthening policy guidance, expanding scene applications, and strengthening cross-border cooperation.
