On August 18, 2025, with the completion of the last 30 meter T-beam pouring, the intelligent beam yard in the mountainous area of Section 3 of the Anpan section of the Shanghai Kunming Expressway expansion project completed all T-beam prefabrication tasks, creating favorable conditions for beam erection and subsequent bridge deck construction tasks. Since the first precast T-beam began pouring on May 31, 2024, after 445 days of hard work day and night, the mountainous smart beam yard has successfully completed the task of prefabricating 1334 T-beams. It is reported that the smart beam yard in mountainous areas constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau adopts advanced Internet of Things technology, sensor interconnection, and information technology to achieve digital control of the entire production process of T-beams. The Anpan section of the Shanghai Kunming Expressway expansion project has a total length of about 174 kilometers, a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour, and is designed as a two-way six lane expressway with a bridge tunnel ratio of 55.03%. After the completion of the project, it will contribute to the construction of a high-quality rapid transportation network, the construction of a high-quality comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the construction of a highway network in our province that is centered, multi-level radiating, interconnected, widely covered, fully capable, and smoothly connected.
