Over 28 million visitors visited Hong Kong in the first seven months of this year, an increase of 12% year-on-year

The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced on the 15th that there were over 28 million visitors to Hong Kong in the first seven months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Among them, there were over 21.3 million mainland tourists and over 6.72 million non mainland tourists, with year-on-year growth of 10% and 16% respectively. Data shows that there were approximately 4.39 million visitors to Hong Kong in July this year, a year-on-year increase of 12%, including approximately 3.51 million mainland tourists and approximately 880000 non mainland tourists. The Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Lam Kin yuen, recently stated that he hopes to continue the good momentum and fully utilize Hong Kong's unique advantages to launch various promotions to attract tourists to Hong Kong and promote the development of the tourism industry.
