On August 12, 2025, in Shiyan, Hubei, the construction site of the Hanjiang Extra Large Bridge on the West Tenth High Speed Railway was bustling with activity. The builders of China Railway 11th Bureau were working hard to weld the steel truss beams. The Hanjiang Extra Large Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a beam truss composite structure. It is a control project for the entire West Tenth High Speed Railway, with a total length of 917.45 meters and a designed main span of 420 meters to cross the Hanjiang River. The height of the two main towers is 186.5 meters. The West Tenth High Speed Railway starts from Xi'an, Shaanxi, crosses the Qinling Mountains to the southeast, passes through Shangluo, and ends at Shiyan, Hubei. The main line is 255.76 kilometers long and has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. (New Society)
