Zhang Hanhui, the Chinese ambassador to Russia, said in his speech that China Russia cooperation in the library field not only promoted mutual understanding between the two peoples, but also made profound cultural contributions to the sustainable and healthy development of China Russia relations. He said that more and more Chinese books are entering Russia, especially Chinese online literature and modern literature, which are popular in Russia and have become a new link connecting the younger generations of the two countries. The Russian people, especially the younger generation, have felt the vitality and vigor of contemporary China's development. During the forum, the National Library of Russia and the National Library of China signed a manuscript copying agreement, and the Far East State Science Library of Russia signed a cooperation agreement with the Capital Library of China. This year's China Russia Library Forum is hosted by the National Library of Russia and the National Library of China, and is one of the activities under the framework of the "China Russia Cultural Year".
