The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is a national, international, and comprehensive large-scale exhibition and trading platform specifically designed for trade in services. Since 2012, it has been successfully held for eleven sessions, and the cooperation results have been increasing year by year. At the media briefing on the one month countdown to the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) held on August 11th, Yang Huasen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and spokesperson of Beichen Group, introduced that adhering to the concept of "global service, mutual benefit and sharing" and focusing on the annual theme of "leading with digital intelligence and revitalizing service trade", the CIFTIS 2025 will be held from September 10th to 14th in Shougang Park, Beijing. At present, the preparation work for the China International Fair for Trade in Services is being efficiently and orderly promoted. Exhibitors will focus on the annual theme, highlight technological empowerment, and use technological and intelligent means to showcase new technology application scenarios, solutions, and service content behind products. ”Yang Huasen introduced that as of now, the recruitment work for the theme exhibitions and special exhibitions of this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services has been basically completed, and nearly 70 countries and international organizations intend to hold exhibitions. The host country Australia and the host province Anhui will both organize the largest exhibition groups since the China International Fair for Trade in Services. More than 800 companies have expressed their intention to participate in the 9 major topics offline, including over 330 Fortune 500 and industry leaders. The overall internationalization rate of the exhibition exceeds 20%. The Commercial Counsellor of the Australian Embassy in China, Ye Danning, stated that China is Australia's largest bilateral trade partner. The Australian Trade Commission will organize nearly 60 institutions and enterprises to form the Australian National Pavilion, with a booth area of 360 square meters, setting a record for the largest number of guest countries in the history of the Service Trade Fair. This year's Service Trade Fair will focus on releasing a batch of new achievements. Currently, more than 70 companies including Alibaba and Schneider have applied to release over 130 new products and achievements at the fair, covering multiple fields such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, healthcare, and green low-carbon. More than 170 forums, conferences, and promotional activities have been scheduled by relevant countries, international organizations, provinces, municipalities, and various topics, including the Global Service Trade Entrepreneurs Summit, the 2025 World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference, the Capital International Medical Conference, and the 4th Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry Service "Dual Carbon" Strategy Academician Forum, among others. The "Beijing Service" brand will make a brilliant appearance at the China International Fair for Trade in Services. Currently, more than 280 "Beijing Service" cases have been collected, involving government office, financial technology, smart healthcare, AI+education and other fields, of which more than 180 have been selected for the key resource library. Yang Huasen stated that this year's Service Trade Fair will create a brand effect of "Come to Service Trade Fair for Beijing Services" through physical displays, trading platforms, and policy support, helping enterprises to explore domestic and international markets. In terms of technology empowering smart hosting, Hu Hao, Deputy District Chief of Shijingshan District People's Government in Beijing, introduced that nearly 50 intelligent products, such as the "Kuafu" service robot, autonomous traffic management patrol vehicle, unmanned shuttle bus, and hand brewed coffee robot, will be showcased to enterprises and industry leaders in the access area. These products will be deeply integrated into various scenarios such as conference services, security inspections, and catering supply to improve the service efficiency and intelligence level of the Service Trade Fair. In 2021, Shougang Park undertook the first special exhibition of the Service Trade Fair. Starting from 2025, Shougang Park will become a centralized venue for the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). Jiang Nan, Deputy General Manager of Shougang Group Co., Ltd., introduced that Shougang Park will fully undertake the functions of the Service Trade Fair and promote the renovation and upgrading of the venue for the Service Trade Fair 5.0 version. The exhibition and display area of the core area of the China International Fair for Trade in Services exceeds 100000 square meters. Among them, the four blast furnaces serve as the gateway for the fair, preserving the rich memories of industrial relics, constructing effective dialogues with natural spaces, and renovating nearly 10000 square meters of decoration. Lin Zengwei, a second level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, introduced that during this year's Service Trade Fair, more than 40 supporting activities are expected to be held throughout the city, fully showcasing the new integration of culture, commerce, and sports, and creating a new scene for service trade. We will take Shougang Park as the core and fully utilize its unique scene of blending industrial heritage with modern fashion. We will plan a series of immersive and interactive special activities at 11 characteristic venues such as the ski jumping platform and the central island of the lake, making service trade visible and tangible.
