The reporter learned from Gongbei Customs that the electronic labeling measures for the entry and exit of motor vehicles in and out of Hengqin (Hengqin single license plate vehicles) in Macau will be officially implemented on the 15th, and Hengqin single license plate vehicles will achieve "one standard access to Qinao". At the Hengqin Port, dozens of test vehicles are conducting tests in an orderly manner on the combined one-stop lane for passenger and freight vehicles. Liang Huazhen, the head of the Technical Department of Hengqin Customs under Gongbei Customs, introduced: "Since May, we have assisted in conducting over 12000 vehicle tests to continuously optimize the recognition rate of electronic tags. Currently, the recognition rate of electronic tags has increased to nearly 99%." It is understood that since the implementation of the new measures, first-time applicants of Hengqin single license plate vehicles only need to install mainland electronic tags recognized by both Guangdong and Macao during vehicle inspection in Macau. After completing the procedures of vehicle registration and border inspection permit issuance in mainland customs, they can drive their vehicles through Hengqin Port into and out of the cooperation zone, greatly shortening the application process and saving round-trip processing time. Single license plate vehicles that have been affixed with Macau Customs electronic tags do not need to remove the Macau electronic tags, and can still enter and exit the cooperation zone through the Hengqin Port normally within the validity period of the Macau motor vehicle entry and exit qualification confirmation letter. Macau resident Li Zhisheng, who participated in the test, said, "Previously, applying for dual location labels required traveling to two places. Now, traveling to one place can save 3 to 4 days." The relevant person in charge of Gongbei Customs introduced that Hengqin Customs and Macau Customs have achieved "dual recognition of one label" by sharing electronic clearance labels. This cross-border management mechanism achieved through technological means simplifies the vehicle clearance and filing procedures, providing new convenience for the integration of Qin'ao.
