Cen Haohui pointed out that in recent years, cooperation and exchanges between Australia and Shanghai have become closer, with expanding fields and gradually improving levels and effectiveness of cooperation. This has formed a new pattern of continuous deepening development in various fields, mainly in finance, science and technology innovation, cultural tourism, exhibitions, youth, and education. Cen Haohui stated that Macao and Shanghai, as the central cities of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, have maintained close exchanges for a long time, with a good foundation for cooperation and enormous potential. Macao has the unique advantage of "relying on the motherland and connecting the world". As a "service platform for business cooperation between China and Portuguese speaking countries", it has a wide international network and a superior business environment. Shanghai is an international financial and technological innovation center with strong scientific research capabilities, a complete industrial chain, and global influence.
