China and Zimbabwe sign economic and technological cooperation agreement

Under the witness of Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa, China and Zimbabwe signed an economic and technological cooperation agreement in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, on the 6th, and signed an exchange of letters regarding China's provision of a new batch of food aid to Zimbabwe. Zhou Ding, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, said that the current China Zimbabwe comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation is deepening and has blossomed in various fields, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples and setting an example for South South cooperation. China will firmly support Zimbabwe in achieving its "2030 Vision" and assist Zimbabwe in promoting socio-economic transformation and development. Zimbabwean Finance Minister Musuli Nkubei thanks China for its long-term support to Zimbabwe in areas such as transportation, energy, and health. He stated that the economic and technological cooperation agreement signed this time will promote the development of key areas of Zimbabwe's national economy, once again proving that China is Zimbabwe's all-weather friend. China and Zimbabwe established diplomatic relations in April 1980, and this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. (New Society)
