Huai'an, Jiangsu: Drones assist in uninterrupted maintenance of the power grid

On August 6th, at the construction site of the 500 kV Qipan/Jiepan transmission line in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, power workers used a medium-sized multi rotor drone to install anti bird devices without power outages. This technology uses drones to accurately deploy bird proof devices, significantly improving operational efficiency and safety, avoiding the impact of traditional power outages on residents and businesses' electricity consumption, and providing strong guarantees for the safe and stable operation of the power grid during the summer electricity peak period.
