Embark on a cultural 'charging' journey together

In recent years, micro games and short videos on smartphones have become important choices for people's leisure and entertainment, and short videos have become essential applications on many people's phones. Some netizens expressed that they originally only planned to watch short videos for a while, but two or three hours passed unconsciously. They couldn't stop watching and shared their helplessness about being occupied by short videos. The excessive reliance on short videos has indeed led some people into a "fragmented" cognitive cycle, weakening their patience and ability to read and think deeply, which is one of the important reasons for the gradual decline of deep learning ability. Fortunately, with the rise of a "deep learning action" online, a large number of young people have actively restored their deep learning state and abilities through activities such as reading books, designing cultural and creative works, visiting theaters, and visiting museums. Data shows that during the May Day holiday in 2025, museums across the country received over 60.4919 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 17%; The foot traffic of physical bookstores across the country has rebounded to the level of 2020, and a certain platform's "Changwen Reading Challenge" has accumulated over ten million check ins. Various cultural institutions carry out activities such as copying calligraphy masterpieces, reading classic works, embroidering tea ceremonies, etc., providing a wide range of choices for young people to enhance their deep learning abilities. It is not difficult to see that the youth group is striving to break through the shackles of "fragmentation", re anchor their own goals in the digital torrent, and immerse themselves in it with execution. The key factor of this action is the self-renewal of the youth group, which is the expression of the individual's desire to pursue mental health and the conscious responsibility of contemporary youth to promote the survival of civilization. Restoring the state of deep learning is a choice for rebuilding oneself. The absence of deep learning has brought some problems to the youth group, and they urgently need to self repair. In real life, many people try to decompress by watching short videos, but are occupied by fragmented and algorithmic content, which seriously affects their energy. Some people are willing to stay up late and use their phones at the cost of reducing sleep time and endangering their health. At the same time, short videos created through secondary creation dissolve readers' deep understanding of classic texts, which can easily cause individual reading and thinking barriers. In addition, the "ready to use" nature of tools such as AI makes it difficult for some people to read basic literature and establish a systematic architecture for understanding and analyzing specific problems. An increasing number of phenomena indicate that poor performance in deep learning is in an interactive relationship with declining reading ability, inadequate professional competence, shallow cognition, emotional loss, and other phenomena, mutually influencing each other. Therefore, restoring deep learning states and repairing weakened higher-order thinking abilities through methods such as "deep reading" and "concentration training" has been put on the agenda by more and more young people. Restoring deep learning capabilities is crucial for the healthy development of society and culture. Deep learning ability is an important factor for people to participate in social and cultural activities, promoting or restricting the depth and breadth of individual participation in cultural activities, and thus becoming one of the important indicators for measuring social mental health. Restoring deep learning capabilities requires enhancing people's ability to actively participate in and experience the intrinsic value of cultural activities. On the one hand, we should continuously optimize the social and cultural ecology, experience immersive cultural activities through the practice of "slow culture", correct alienated cultural consumption views, in order to combat the utilitarian phenomenon of "knowledge fast charging" and improve the rhythm and order of social culture. On the other hand, we should encourage young people to enhance their social adaptability, help them relieve stress and fatigue, and improve their psychological resilience and mental health. Moreover, the whole society should work together to create more social and cultural activities that can be participated in together, promote social interaction and identity across professions and ages, reduce intergenerational barriers in the digital age, and enhance social connections. The deep learning awareness of young people is closely related to cultural inheritance. Cultural inheritance relies on the intergenerational transmission of cultural genes, which is not simply copying and pasting, but rather the social individuals' adherence to traditional culture and innovation. Insufficient awareness of deep learning can damage individuals' energy and patience in participating in cultural activities, thereby affecting the overall degree of cultural inheritance. From another perspective, deep participation in cultural activities is an effective means of maintaining the uniqueness of human thinking. However, in the AI era, the "information cocoon" constructed by the "search and get" of knowledge and algorithm recommendations creates a false sense of cultural satisfaction, making the brain easily trapped in a cycle of "high stimulation low nutrition", seriously affecting the overall and speculative ability of individuals to acquire cultural knowledge. The jumping logic and emotional expression ability of technological software cannot replace human thinking and human values, so cultural inheritance relies more on human beings themselves. Enhancing deep learning awareness means declaring individual spiritual sovereignty and repairing the overall cultural perception ability that has been fragmented, which can solidify the ecological foundation of cultural inheritance. At present, we should tap into our personal potential, rely on social support, and use information technology to continuously improve our deep learning abilities, in order to reserve sufficient spiritual energy for participating in cultural activities. The key to restoring deep learning ability lies in the individual. We may adjust the relationship between work, life, and learning, and moderately establish a "cultural schedule". Starting from a 15 minute daily "reading+calligraphy (writing)" micro training, gradually increase the duration and difficulty, continuously improve cultural intake, and rebuild focus. We can draw nutrients from the natural and social environment to enhance our deep learning abilities, such as visiting museums, attending concerts, walking into theaters, experiencing craft production, etc., to awaken our perception that has been dulled by digital life. Of course, we can also actively create a cultural atmosphere to enhance our focus, and carry out cultural activities such as "reading a book, appreciating a painting, and evaluating movies and TV dramas together" with family, colleagues, and friends, transforming solitary practice into "group monster fighting". We also need to recognize that the restoration of deep learning abilities among young people cannot be achieved without the support of the entire society. We look forward to the joint efforts of various social organizations, enterprises, and cultural institutions to establish and improve relevant mechanisms, and encourage employees to deeply participate in cultural activities; Provide diverse social services such as book clubs, evening classes for citizens, delayed opening of museums, 24-hour bookstores, etc., to meet the cultural needs of different groups; Innovate intangible cultural heritage workshops, cultural research and other forms, create sustainable social and cultural projects, and provide systematic support and refined services for restoring deep learning capabilities. I believe that with the efforts of various parties, especially the proactive actions of young people, the attempts to restore deep learning ability, enhance cultural appreciation ability, and reserve cultural activity energy of the youth group can be solidly implemented and continuously achieve results and gain experience, consolidating the foundation for the growth and development of young individuals, cultivating a better cultural atmosphere and ecology for society, and providing a better environment for the cultural inheritance of the country and the nation.
