On May 18th, the large-scale cross-border fusion situational drama "National Treasure Liaoning" jointly produced by Liaoning Song and Dance Troupe and Liaoning Provincial Museum premiered at Liaoning Grand Theatre, sparking a craze for people to explore Liaoning national treasures and Liaoning culture. As the ancient and solemn music resounds, the stage curtain slowly opens, and a cultural dialogue spanning thousands of years unfolds in the interweaving of light and shadow. The veil rises gently, the sound of the flute is distant, and the stage is like an unfolded piece of rice paper. The dancers dressed in ink colored robes are like flowing ink, condensed and formed on the paper with every leap and turn. Amidst the fluttering clothes, the charm of national treasures such as the "Long Live the Sky Sutra" and the "Zhong Ni Dream Memorial Sutra" are vividly portrayed, and the unique brushstrokes and fortunes of several calligraphy masters are fully reproduced. To showcase stroke movements through dance techniques, one must carefully understand the various aesthetics of calligraphy works. Actor Luan Shusen attempts to deeply integrate the aesthetics of cultural relics with performance through continuous exploration. On stage, as the scene turns, a pair of butterflies hover lightly in the air, slowly spreading their colorful wings. In a daze, people were startled to realize that the fluttering butterflies were actually dancers dressed in raincoats. This colorful butterfly also originates from a national treasure cultural relic - a long plate with three colored glazed peony double butterfly pattern and crabapple style. The perfect display of crossing time and space suddenly makes people feel that cultural relics are "alive". Transforming static Liao Sancai porcelain plates into emotional dance works is a great challenge. We rack our brains to understand the soul of cultural relics, striving to make the works both visually impactful and culturally valuable. For executive director Li Yue, the creative process is also a dialogue with cultural relics and a process of giving them new life. Bringing cultural relics to life and bringing culture into everyday life has long been a trend. In recent years, the exquisite film and television works such as "Chang'an 30000 Miles", "Nezha's Devil Child Comes to Earth", and stage programs such as "Tang Palace Dinner" and "The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting" are all "narrators" of excellent traditional Chinese culture. We are willing to pay for such works. Liaoning has many national treasures and cultural relics. Can this series continue to be performed? "Ms. Han, a cultural and museum enthusiast, raised higher expectations. The spotlight on the stage gradually dimmed, the applause in the theater continued, and the sound of music and lively discussions at the end of the show echoed around the theater. The timeless paintings quietly displayed in the museum display cabinets, the ink and wash flowing in the long river of history, have transformed into lively dance steps and beautiful light and shadow in this cultural feast, leading people's love and pursuit of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
