The reporter learned from the Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau that the "China Portuguese Speaking Countries Enterprise Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair Malabo 2025" was held in Equatorial Guinea on July 29th local time, with the theme of "Industrialization Promotes Agricultural Development", bringing together more than 500 political and business representatives from mainland China, Portuguese speaking countries, and Macao. The Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau organized about 40 entrepreneurs and economic and trade representatives from mainland China and Macao covering multiple fields such as commodity trade, finance, cross-border e-commerce, agriculture, health, medical technology, professional services, tourism, etc. to attend the conference. Li Zaosen, a member of the Macao Investment Promotion Bureau, stated that this is the first time since Equatorial Guinea joined the Forum Macao that it has become the host of the "China Portuguese Speaking Countries Enterprise Economic and Trade Cooperation Negotiation Conference", providing assistance in promoting project docking, helping enterprises go global, and promoting industrial cooperation. It is reported that the negotiation conference consists of a series of activities, including a product exhibition gathering 30 Equatorial Guinea enterprises, a special promotion of bilateral economic and trade relations between China and Equatorial Guinea, business matching, signing ceremony, inspection of local farms, cultural and tourism projects, and other arrangements. After 120 rounds of business matching negotiations, Chinese companies signed 6 contracts, covering cooperation in the fields of arbitration and dispute resolution, agricultural products, legal services, transportation, information technology, etc. The fair was co sponsored by Equatorial Guinea Chamber of Commerce, Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Brazil Export Investment Promotion Bureau, Cape Verde Investment and Export Promotion Bureau, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau, Guinea Bissau Investment Promotion Bureau, Mozambique Investment and Export Promotion Bureau, Portugal Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau, Sao Tome and Principe Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau, and Timor Leste Investment and Export Promotion Bureau. The "China Portuguese Speaking Countries Enterprise Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair", as an important mechanism for Sino Portuguese economic and trade cooperation, was a cooperation project signed by China, Portuguese speaking countries, and the Macao Trade Promotion Agency during the first China Portuguese Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum (Macao) in 2003. Since 2005, it has been held in Portuguese speaking countries on a rotating basis. This year, it has been held for the 16th time, with nearly 6800 Chinese and Portuguese companies participating.
