The 19th batch of Chinese medical aid teams to Lesotho recently joined hands with African traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to carry out a rich free clinic activity in Leribe District, Lesotho. This free clinic covers many clinical departments such as internal medicine, surgery, acupuncture and moxibustion, orthopedics and traumatology, obstetrics and gynecology, and provides accurate diagnosis and treatment services for local people. The African Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture and moxibustion, the African Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture and moxibustion and the academic delegation of Johannesburg University also participated in this free clinic activity. Among them, Dr. Hu Zijing conducted on-site teaching for students in the process of free clinic combined with clinical practice, further promoting the localization and dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine technology. The medical team fully utilized their professional advantages, demonstrating superb medical skills and selfless dedication. Dr. Zuo Changjun performed a small needle knife operation (provided by the Chinese aid medical team in Lesotho), while Dr. Hu Zijing conducted a free clinic and taught (provided by the Chinese aid medical team in Lesotho). The captain of the medical team, Wu Hui, stated that the free clinic in Leribe District was a complete success. In the future, the medical team will continue to uphold the spirit of "fearlessness of hardship, willingness to contribute, saving lives and helping the wounded, and boundless love" in foreign medical aid, actively carry out various medical assistance work, and strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the local medical community in Africa, making greater contributions to improving the medical level in Africa and promoting the integration of medical culture between China and Africa.
