The audience's demand for micro dramas has gradually shifted from simple entertainment to requirements for content quality and value orientation. Those poorly made and illogical micro dramas may attract some attention in the short term, but ultimately cannot win the audience's long-term recognition and love. Therefore, in order for micro dramas to achieve sustainable development, it is necessary to establish a collaborative governance system of "government supervision+industry self-discipline+platform responsibility". At the regulatory level, it is necessary to accelerate the improvement of laws and regulations, clarify the content standards, copyright protection, consumption norms, etc. of micro dramas, and at the same time use artificial intelligence technology to establish a content review platform to improve regulatory efficiency. At the industry level, association organizations should develop self-discipline conventions, establish a blacklist system, and implement joint punishment for non compliant producers and platforms; The industry needs to establish a "red line mechanism" for content review, strictly controlling content related to ethics, public safety, and other fields, and eliminating the tendency towards vulgarization and pandering. At the platform level, it is necessary to implement the main responsibility and establish a full process management mechanism of "pre audit+in-process monitoring+post rectification" to prevent vulgar content from being listed. In addition, the algorithm recommendation logic also needs to be optimized. Algorithm recommendations should align with value oriented standards and recommend content that conforms to mainstream values to users. During the May Day holiday in 2025, more than 2000 illegal short dramas will be taken down nationwide, marking a shift in regulatory efforts from point based reminders to systematic governance. Although relevant departments have issued multiple regulatory documents requiring the grading, classification, review or filing of micro dramas, and their certification for online release, as well as the removal of illegal micro dramas published on multiple platforms, there are still a large number of micro dramas with problematic values in reality.
