The "Splendid Tianfu · Comfortable Sichuan" Sichuan intangible cultural heritage cultural event was held here on the evening of the 28th. The event kicked off with the ethnic instrumental ensemble performances of "Kangding Love Song" and "Eternal Love Across Thousands of Rivers and Mountains". Emei martial arts, long mouthed tea art performances, and other intangible cultural heritage projects were closely followed, winning rounds of applause from the scene. The Sichuan opera "Doll Face Changing" pushed the atmosphere to a climax with the puppets changing more than 10 different facial expressions within a few minutes. In this event, several inheritors of intangible cultural heritage from Sichuan brought more than 10 unique intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, including the techniques of new palm weaving, Qiong pottery firing, Chengdu silver flower silk production, Chengdu lacquer art, Daoming bamboo weaving, Shu brocade weaving, etc., which were dazzling. Yu Xianhe, Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech on site, stating that although Sichuan and Macao are thousands of miles apart, they share a deep bond of people to people and friendship. Sichuan is known as the "Land of Abundance" with a solid industrial foundation, magnificent mountains and rivers, and rich Bashu culture. We hope to vividly showcase the unique charm of "Beautiful Tianfu, Comfortable Sichuan" through this intangible cultural heritage entry event in Macau. That evening, the unveiling ceremony for the establishment of the Macau Sichuan Friendship Association was also held. President Lu Shihao of the General Association delivered a speech, saying that the exchanges between Sichuan and Macao are becoming increasingly frequent, the economic and trade relations are becoming closer, and the exchange and cooperation situation is good. The establishment of the Macau Sichuan Friendship Association carries our original intention, confidence, and determination to help Sichuan and Macau achieve new development and explore new prospects. We will strive to gather the strength of all parties and jointly promote economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Sichuan and Australia.
