On July 18th, in Bologna, Italy, members of the Hydrangea Chorus and the Antoniano Chorus performed a song together. On that day, the Hydrangea Chorus from Shanghai, China and the Antoniano Chorus from Italy performed classic Italian nursery rhymes together in Bologna, showcasing the learning and exchange achievements of the 2025 summer camp. This year, a total of 22 Chinese children participated in this summer camp, ranging from 5 years old to 11 years old. During the summer camp, under the guidance of the Antoniano Chorus conductor, they learned classic songs from the Italian Gold Coin Children's Song Contest, such as "Disco Pizza DJ", "How Crocodiles Cry", "Thank You", etc. They rehearsed and performed together with Italian friends, and even made Italian pizza by hand to experience European drama workshops. The Antoniano Chorus (abbreviated as Antuan) was founded in 1963 and is known as the "voice that accompanied generations of Italians as they grew up". On New Year's Day 2016, the Antoniano Chorus performed in China for the first time and was warmly welcomed by Chinese audiences. In recent years, they have continued to release Chinese songs. 2025 is the tenth year that Antuan has established a connection with Chinese audiences. (New Society)
