The Chinese Ambassador to Mexico, Chen Daojiang, stated that both the Chinese and Mexican civilizations are brilliant treasures of human civilization, each showcasing its own brilliance in the long river of history and rejuvenating itself through exchanges and mutual learning. The "benevolence and harmony" advocated by the Chinese nation echoes the wisdom and art nurtured by the Mayan and Aztec civilizations across time and space. Diego Prieto, Director of the Department of Active Culture, Intangible Cultural Heritage and Cultural Exchange of the Mexican Ministry of Culture, pointed out that Mexico and China are both ancient civilizations that have nurtured a long and glorious cultural tradition. The two countries have always adhered to the concept of peace, advocated for the proper handling of differences through dialogue and consultation, and actively promoted friendship and cooperation between countries. Currently, the Mexican government is committed to social transformation. In this process, Mexico and China can learn from each other's experiences and share wisdom, injecting new vitality into the continuous deepening of bilateral friendship and cooperation. The Chairman of the Mexico China Friendship Group in the Mexican Federal House of Representatives, Raimondo V á zquez, mentioned that Mexico and China understand differences through mutual respect, cherish commonalities through mutual appreciation, and their relationship has become a model of international cooperation. In the face of global challenges, cooperation between Mexico and China is not only of strategic significance, but also a necessary condition for achieving common prosperity and a fair future. This dialogue among civilizations will further consolidate friendship, expand cooperation and open up broader development prospects for the two peoples. Enrique Dussel, director of the Center for Sino Mexican Studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, stated that China has consistently held the position of Mexico's second largest trading partner for many years. In recent years, the cooperation between Mexico and China has gone far beyond economy, trade, investment, and infrastructure construction, gradually expanding to multiple fields such as cultural exchange, technological innovation, education cooperation, academic exchange, and sports. The forum released a think tank report titled "Keeping Cultural Subjectivity in the Struggle of World Culture - the Spiritual Cornerstone of the Development Path of Chinese path to modernization". The report reviews the historical context and magnificent evolution of Chinese cultural subjectivity with a long history, analyzes the key role of cultural subjectivity in the development of human civilization, expounds the successful practice of Chinese path to modernization in adhering to and activating Chinese cultural subjectivity, and provides the latest interpretation for the global audience to better understand Chinese cultural subjectivity. This forum is jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency and the Central Institute of Party History and Literature of the Communist Party of China. Nearly a hundred guests from the cultural, academic, media, business, and political circles of China and Mexico attended the event.
