The "Blake-2025" International Sniper Shooting Competition opened on the 15th at a training base of the People's Armed Police Force in Urumqi, Xinjiang. More than 50 sniper teams from over 20 countries participated. Among them, China sent 12 sniper teams from the army, navy, air force, and armed police forces to participate. The main theme of this competition is practicality and cooperation, with the theme of "forging special combat elites and pragmatic cooperation and exchange". It is divided into four categories: precision foundation, typical scenarios, comprehensive combat, and long-range challenge sniping. There are 12 competition courses, including hidden arrow blade, hundred step piercing poplar, and boat mounted water sniping. The competition is organized and implemented through the methods of same course and same field competition, synchronous development of multiple courses, and cross rotation of multiple venues. Compared with previous competitions, the curriculum of this year's competition places more emphasis on the combination of human and equipment, combining unmanned aerial vehicle aerial reconnaissance, assault vehicle land cover, assault boat water infiltration and other equipment coordination with sniper operations; To better reflect the characteristics of actual combat, the competition venue is set up according to the idea of similar target shapes, terrain selection, and equivalent conditions, maximizing the restoration of real combat scenes; Incorporate more Chinese cultural elements into the course name, target design, and sniper positions. The "Sharp Blade" International Sniper Shooting Competition is an important brand for the Armed Police Force to carry out practical training and international military cooperation. It has been successfully held for three times before.
