The mandatory national standards to be formulated this time will set stricter technical standards for mobile power banks, including power banks. In recent years, the mobile power industry has shown a relatively rapid development trend. At the same time, mobile power supply safety accidents occur frequently, seriously threatening the safety of consumers' lives and property. By formulating mandatory national standards, clarifying safety protection, special safety requirements for batteries, as well as requirements for materials, production processes, and key processes, we aim to reduce accident risks from the source, curb the proliferation of inferior products, eliminate low-quality production capacity, and reduce product safety hazards from the source. The mandatory national standards to be formulated this time include basic requirements such as general requirements and product labeling, requirements for overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, short circuit protection, overload, misoperation, cyclic drop, intelligent management of mobile power supplies, special requirements for overcharge, squeezing, thermal abuse, needle punching of lithium-ion batteries, key materials for lithium-ion batteries, as well as production processes and key process requirements for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs.
