On July 3rd, the Heishanxia Yellow River Grand Bridge located in Zhongwei City, Ningxia was successfully closed. The super large bridge is a controlling project of the Zhongwei to Mengjiawan section of National Highway 338, and the smooth closure lays a solid foundation for the project to be completed and opened to traffic within the year. It is reported that the Heishanxia Yellow River Grand Bridge has a total length of 1539 meters and a main span of 240 meters. It is currently the highest tower, steepest inclination, and most complex construction technology highway bridge in the Ningxia section of the Yellow River. After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure of the existing National Highway 338, improve the road network in the northwest region, and become an important channel connecting the Lanzhou and Xining urban agglomerations and the Ningxia Yellow River urban belt.
