(Shandong Electric Power Construction) recently held a celebration ceremony for the comprehensive completion of the land engineering of the Saudi King Salman International Port Facility Project (hereinafter referred to as the Saudi King's Port Project) at the site of the project. The Saudi King's Port project is located in the Lasherr Industrial Park in Jubail, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It was personally laid and named by Saudi King Salman and is an important component of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030". The project is invested and constructed by Saudi Aramco and IMI International Ports Joint Venture. The P4-P5-P6 section, which is EPC contracted by Shandong Electric Power Construction, is the main section of the project, with a total contract value exceeding 3 billion US dollars. In his speech, Halkan Ahmad, the project director of Saudi Arabia's King Harbor, highly praised Shandong Electric Power Construction's performance. "Shandong Electric Power Construction has demonstrated world-class professional standards and excellent execution capabilities, and is a trustworthy partner." Wang Yuanhui, the general manager of Shandong Electric Power Construction, said in his speech that with the joint efforts of all parties, the land engineering of the King Harbor project was successfully completed, marking the key stage of this major cooperation project between China and Saudi Arabia. The project team overcame numerous challenges, worked together to overcome them, and demonstrated the spirit of cooperation of "one team, one goal". In the future, Shandong Electric Power Construction will continue to make every effort, fulfill its responsibilities, ensure project quality, and work together with all parties to promote the comprehensive completion of the project. It is reported that after the operation of the Saudi King's Port project, it will drive a growth of approximately 17 billion US dollars in Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product, replace imports by approximately 12 billion US dollars, and create about 80000 job opportunities.
