On July 1, 2025, the upper module of the 24-7 platform of the Xijiang 24 Zone development project, constructed by Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., was completed and shipped from the International High end Equipment Manufacturing Base in Qingdao, Shandong. This platform has pioneered multiple records, including the overall prefabrication and hoisting technology of electrical modules, as well as the commissioning mode of shore power and medium voltage on the upper module. It is reported that the block will be transported by sea for about 2000 kilometers and will be hoisted in the waters of Xijiang Oilfield. After production, it will serve in the waters of Xijiang Oilfield in the eastern South China Sea at a depth of about 90 meters. (New Society)
