Recently, 14 students from the "Clear Dreams and Red Hearts" branch of Tsinghua University's First Academy traveled thousands of miles to Jinshan Middle School in Kalaqin Banner, Chifeng City to conduct a one week teaching research activity. The "Clear Dreams and True Hearts" Support Team is a student social practice team organized by Tsinghua University's First Academy, mainly engaged in teaching and research activities. The team carries the belief of "education changes destiny" and upholds the Tsinghua spirit of "actions speak louder than words", and goes deep into the frontline of grassroots education in northern Xinjiang. Jinshan Middle School, as a leading county-level middle school in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has left a deep impression on the members of the team with its high-quality teaching and the eager spirit of its teachers and students to learn. During the short seven day volunteer teaching activity, Tsinghua students carefully designed a rich and colorful teaching content. Not only imparting subject knowledge, but also emphasizing guidance on learning methods; Not only do we conduct special lectures, but we also spend time with local students day and night as' accompanying students'. Members of the team shared their valuable experiences from studying at Tsinghua University through forms such as "learning experience sharing sessions" and "growth dialogues". From time management to mindset adjustment, from exam preparation skills to life planning, these experiences of "experienced people" have greatly benefited Jinzhong students. Around the theme of "local sentiment and career planning", members of the team went into students' families and visited local residents. Through questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and other methods, they collected a large amount of first-hand information, hoping to provide valuable reference for local talent policies through professional data analysis. This teaching research activity has brought a brand new experience to the students of Jinshan Middle School. As the last evening self-study bell rings, the volunteer teaching team bid farewell to the students with reluctance. This brief teacher-student relationship will become a driving force to continue moving forward and help students' dreams come true. (New Society)
