In order to improve the management system of social organizations and promote the standardization of social organization construction, the Ministry of Civil Affairs recently formulated and released the "Annual Inspection Measures for Social Organizations". This regulation will officially come into effect on January 1, 2026, and is applicable to social organizations registered and established in accordance with the law by registration and management authorities at all levels. By the end of 2024, there were approximately 381000 registered social organizations nationwide, accounting for 43.6% of the total number of social organizations. This regulation consists of 21 articles, mainly based on regulations and policies such as the "Regulations on the Administration of Registration of Social Organizations", and strengthens the system design. Clarify the annual inspection procedures and corresponding time limit requirements to ensure that related work is carried out in an orderly and standardized manner; Clearly classify the annual inspection conclusions into three types: qualified, basically qualified, and unqualified, as well as the specific situations corresponding to different conclusions; Clarify the rectification of social group issues and the relevant provisions for credit management and administrative penalties of registration management agencies, and do a good job in the second half of the annual inspection work.
