Writing poetry in the soil, blooming in the gravel "- Mass writing brings poetry to the lights of thousands of households

Why write poetry? "This is a question that Jing Shuzhen often thinks about. She lives in a remote mountain village in Fangcheng County, Henan Province. In addition to running a small shop, she also grows several acres of crops. Because I enjoy literature, I write poetry and prose in my spare time while working in the fields. She spread every little observation of life, every blade of grass, every brick, and every tile into words. In this somewhat isolated mountain village, writing poetry is my own business, I have always written and read it myself. ”Until one day, an old man came over excitedly and said that he had read her poems on WeChat official account. She quickly asked which song it was? The old man said it was the song "May" and loudly memorized it: "The wheat in Zhangwan Village is ripe, but the harvester has not yet arrived. There can be no more anxious waiting than this." At that moment, she suddenly realized that writing poetry was about writing about her own life and our shared life. At the recent New Popular Poetry Conference organized by Poetry Publishing Society and Hunan Writers Association, Jing Shuzhen confidently shared her poetry writing experience with everyone. She summarized this process in ten words: "Write poetry in the soil, bloom in the gravel." In the future, if conditions permit, she also wants to establish a "Rural Poetry Society" to encourage more villagers to participate in poetry creation. Warm is a welder from Sichuan Pangang Group, accompanying the roaring machines and busy workers every day. Watching the machines running and sparks splashing around, she always finds a different kind of pleasure, capturing the poetic essence of ordinary life. In "He Said He Won't Come to Work Tomorrow", she wrote about a retired worker who "caressed the old armrest/looked lovingly at an old friend who had been away for a long time"; When I saw the welder's underwear, I wrote, 'Inside my body, there is the rushing sea/The sky is deep blue/Outside, there are welding sparks splashing/The sun is scorching.'. My poetry is real, flowing from the bottom of my heart, all of which are my personal experiences. Writing poetry has changed my mental state and also enabled me to question ordinary things. Writing poetry is an indispensable part of my life and work. ”With warm emotion, I say that it is precisely because of poetry that I have never complained, no matter how hard or tired I am. I believe that after the wind and rain, there will be a rainbow. Insert the pen tip into the soil, and the poetry will have the fragrance of soil and the power to nourish the heart. In recent years, food delivery drivers shuttling through the streets and alleys of the city, couriers running between buildings, workers crawling in mine pipelines, and farmers bending down to work in the fields and countryside... With their brush strokes filled with the smoke and fire of life, they have written about the joys and sorrows of life, decorating the spiritual nursery of ordinary people. And these amateur writers have also become a plain and vivid practice of new popular literature and art. Zhou Min, a grassroots poet from Xiangtan, Hunan, has read many works by ordinary people. They work hard for their livelihoods while cultivating their dreams; they step on the soil and shine with starlight above their heads; their left hand is rough and their right hand is warm; they run while singing, walking and singing. They are like two sides of life, with pain and laughter, confusion and imagination, quiet night and starry sky, mundane daily life, poetry and distant places. "In his opinion, everyone comes from different industries and fields, writing about their own lives, understanding, and people around them, which is not only a voice for ourselves, but also a representative of the industry we are engaged in. In my opinion, the new popular literature and art is about the masses writing and writing about the masses. ”Yi Min, Secretary General of the Loudi Writers Association in Hunan Province, believes that mass writing, also known as creation, is no longer synonymous with professionalism. It provides opportunities for "masses" of different identities and roles to express themselves; Writing about the masses, that is, the writing object focuses on the common people, the first scene of life, and the most direct heartbeat in the heart, so that those overlooked corners can also be "seen" through words. Being present is the cornerstone or lifeline of all grassroots poets' writing. ”Poet Liang Shuzheng from Huayuan, Hunan, personally felt that "writing in the presence" gives the works of the new popular literary and artistic group distinct characteristics and strong vitality. "Literature is to go deep into human nature, to have brightness, purity, and a deep reflection on the world. Delivery man Wang Jibing is often referred to as the "delivery poet". He explained on site, "It has been 7 years since I delivered food, while writing has been going on for 37 years." Every time he recalls his writing experience, the phrase always comes to his mind: "Literature is a heavy snowfall that fell on the empty land of my life. It cannot change my life, but it will make my life more exciting." Wang Jibing hopes that more people will fall in love with literature and let it return to the public more. "This is a particularly meaningful and happy thing. I often imagine such a picture: more and more ordinary people are experiencing daily necessities of life while loving poetry and songs. What a beautiful life scene. When poetry and songs are equivalent to firewood, Integrating rice, oil, and salt into our daily lives will greatly increase our sense of happiness and make life happy and interesting. True poetry always resonates with the masses on the same frequency. ”Li Shaojun, the editor in chief of Poetry Magazine Society, stated that we need to break the closed state of circle and niche, and let poetry go from the ivory tower to the bustling world on the streets, from obscurity to clarity, from personal self talk to empathetic and heartfelt singing. We look forward to hearing the lyrical expressions of dialects, the shouts of the fields, and even the beat of the scaffolding on construction sites. In the context of new popular literature and art, poetry creation can be "poetry for everyone, poetry for everyone". (New Society)
