On the 19th, it was learned from Gongbei Customs that the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs under Gongbei Customs has recently seized three consecutive cases of export cross-border e-commerce infringement of goods, with a total of 20599 items of goods infringing on the trademark and copyright of Bubble Mart seized. At 1am on June 12th, at the exit cargo inspection site of the Zhuhai Highway Port on the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, on-site customs officers conducted a machine inspection of a cross-border truck that was being transferred for export. They found a batch of gray brown cardboard boxes containing a large number of blind boxes and plush toys, totaling 10465 pieces. Some of the products have the brand logo "POP MART" printed on their outer packaging, while others do not have a brand logo. However, their appearance IP is currently the most popular "LABUBU" series from POP MART. The customs officer preliminarily judged on site that the batch of blind boxes and plush toys were suspected of infringement. At 14:00 and 20:00 on the same day, customs officers seized two cross-border trucks carrying blind boxes with the "POP MART" brand logo and plush toys for export, totaling 7734 and 2400 respectively. After counting, there are a total of 20599 pieces of goods in the three batches. After confirmation by the rights holder, the blind box and plush toys mentioned above have used the "POP MART" logo without authorization, infringing on their trademark and copyright. The rights holder has applied for intellectual property protection to the customs in accordance with the law, and the batch of goods has been further processed according to regulations. (New Society)
