Seamless transfer between trains and airplanes, logistics distribution, and on-demand delivery

In the control and protection zone of rail transit, unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with high-definition cameras and AI recognition algorithms fly across the sky, and all large construction machinery that may affect the safety of tunnel structures can be "observed" by them, and real-time alarm information can be transmitted back... This is the low altitude intelligent inspection system independently developed by China Railway Signal&Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC"). At present, the system has been officially put into operation in Chongqing, providing safety guarantees for four lines including Chongqing Rail Transit Line 5, covering a total length of about 240 kilometers. This system is one of the exemplary applications of the 'low altitude+orbit' scenario created by China Communications. ”On June 16th, Xu Zongqi, Minister of the Strategic Emerging Industries Division of China Railway Signal&Communication Corporation, said in an interview with Science and Technology Daily that in recent years, the coupling between rail transit and low altitude fields has become increasingly close, and their interaction and coordination have given rise to new application models, injecting new momentum into industrial development. China Railway Signal&Communication Corporation was founded in 1953 and has been deeply involved in the field of rail transit for decades. It has accumulated a wealth of experience and talent in rail operation control technology. The construction of the "low altitude+orbit" model is not only about business interoperability, but also about the integration and innovation of technology and operational systems. During the construction process, China Communications Communications has overcome the three major challenges of communication, perception, and control. It has successively launched achievements such as the "One Tower, One City" 6G private network, electrostatic+radar fusion detection system, and ID Space low altitude airspace intelligent control system. It has also deeply laid out the field of aircraft manufacturing, formulated the development path of "electrification, verticalization, unmanned, and miniaturization" low altitude aircraft, and provided solid technical support for enterprises to explore dual tracks. At present, the "low altitude+rail" model has shown effectiveness in multiple fields, opening up new paths for the development of comprehensive transportation. On January 20th of this year, the first flight ceremony of the "Air Rail Intermodal Transport" from Zhanjiang West to Haikou Station, which was jointly constructed by China Communications and CITIC Group, was held in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. Replacing the traditional "train+ferry" mode with the "low altitude+rail" mode can shorten the travel time between the two places from over 4 hours to about 35 minutes, bringing new transportation experiences to passengers. In terms of logistics and transportation, China Unicom has also made breakthroughs. On June 12th of this year, China Unicom and China Post jointly launched the first demonstration activity of a heavy-duty unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inter island cross sea logistics route in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. The one-way route is 51.4 kilometers long and is operated by a joint aircraft TD550 heavy-duty unmanned helicopter. It only takes 30 minutes to deliver materials across the sea, which is more than 75% faster than traditional shipping. This low altitude logistics route breaks through traditional maritime restrictions, supports all-weather and emergency transportation in adverse weather conditions, and enables island logistics to fly at any time and on time, providing a new solution for efficient distribution of fresh products, medical emergency supplies, and other emergency supplies. With the emergence of a series of new achievements and scenarios, the blueprint of "low altitude+rail" is becoming increasingly clear, and the urban air traffic network is gradually forming. In the future, aircraft themselves or only the size of a car can be used as take-off and landing points on the roofs of high-speed railway stations, squares, and subway stations in cities, achieving seamless transfer between trains and airplanes. Taking the cultural and tourism industry as an example, when visiting mountainous areas, tourists can immediately transfer to a plane within the station after getting off the high-speed rail, and take off and land vertically to reach the top of the scenic area, meeting personalized and convenient travel needs. The expanded application of low altitude technology will make people's lives increasingly better. ”Xu Zongqi said that China Communications will fully leverage the advantages of intelligent control technology and make every effort to build an integrated three-dimensional transportation network of air, sea, and land. From rail inspection to logistics transportation to cultural tourism, the "low altitude+N" model can empower thousands of industries. This industrial revolution driven by control technology is accelerating the realization of a three-dimensional transportation landscape. (New Society)
