The relevant responsible persons will be held criminally responsible by the judicial organs. On the day of the CCTV "3.15 Evening Gala", a press conference was held in Nanning for the follow-up disposal work of Guangxi's market supervision department. Yang Jijun stated at the meeting that Guangxi had responded quickly to the production and sales of unqualified wires and cables in some enterprises and markets, and had deployed to promote industry rectification with a "zero tolerance" attitude. The whole chain of industry rectification was carried out with a "zero tolerance" attitude, and the industry quality improvement was promoted by drawing lessons from others. The progress of case investigation and handling was tracked point by point. At the same time, Guangxi will strengthen targeted supervision and include the crackdown on "slimming down wires and cables" in the 2025 action plan to investigate and protect consumer behavior in the field of people's livelihood. Conduct undercover inspections on 42 enterprises in 5 cities including Nanning and Qinzhou, identify and urge rectification of 10 types of issues related to labeling management, incoming inspection, and factory inspection, and suspend/revoke 63 CCC certification certificates. Guangxi also carried out 335 special monitoring of online sales of wires and cables, monitored 102 relevant network operators, coordinated the Tiktok platform to ban related enterprises such as "Runxiong Cable" and "Tiktok Guangxi", strengthened the guard of 12315 complaint reporting telephone, and quickly handled complaints from the masses. In addition, the market supervision department of Guangxi has guided the establishment of the Guangxi Wire and Cable Industry Association, building a governance system of "government led, industry self-discipline, and social supervision", advocating for enterprises to conduct business in compliance with the law and regulations. In terms of strengthening quality and technical assistance, Guangxi organized experts to conduct quality diagnosis on 31 enterprises, achieving quality traceability for 75% of production enterprises and promoting industry improvement and goodness.
